1445
UnclassifiedGeneral
What This Code Means
The generator output current has exceeded 175% of rated current; Fault remains active and cannot be reset until Alternator Overheat Integral time has expired (up to five minutes)
Possible Causes
- •Faulty CTs, Incorrect CT Ratio, CTs, CT Connections
- •Short In the Load or Load Cables
Suggested Actions
- 1Check the current going into the CT input on the control board (use a current probe to check the secondary output of the CT). Value should not exceed calibrated secondary control limit (e.g., maximum 5 A for a 1000:5 CT ratio).
- 2Check the load and load cables. Repair if necessary.
- 3Ensure the control is set up for the correct CT ratio. Reference event/fault code 2814 for CT ratio troubleshooting information.
- 4If previous steps check out ok, replace the base board.
- 5Verify the CT connections are correct from the CTs to the input of the base board.
