What This Code Means

Unable to reach lower TPS step; TPS 1 voltage is 2.0 volts or less when throttle command is between 63% - 68% in DBW (Drive By Wire) test mode

Possible Causes

  • Intermittent problem
  • Voltage present between throttle connector TPS 1 signal pin 1 and engine ground
  • Lack of continuity between throttle connector signal ground pin 3 and ECM signal ground circuit pin 20
  • Foreign object in throttle bore
  • Damaged, corroded, or contaminated throttle wire harness connector terminals
  • Faulty ECM
