DTC 22 2
UnclassifiedFuel
What This Code Means
TPS2 voltage low (< 1.00 VDC) at 0% TPS; DST displays TPS2 voltage <0.2 VDC with throttle closed; DST displays TPS2 voltage <0.2 VDC with throttle open; TPS2 voltage falls below 0.2 volts
Possible Causes
- •Intermittent Problem
- •Poor Throttle Connection
- •Faulty Throttle
Suggested Actions
- 1Perform the On-Board (OBD) System Check
- 2Key ON, Engine OFF, System Mode = 'Stopped', Enable 'DBW Test' mode to check if TPS2 voltage is low (< 1.00 VDC) at 0% TPS
- 3Slowly depress FP while observing TPS2 voltage (or sweep throttle on stationary applications by typing desired throttle opening % in the TPS Command box on the DBW page)
- 4Key OFF, Disconnect throttle from harness
- 5Slowly release FPP sensor while observing TPS2 voltage
- 6Jumper 5Vref1 to TPS2 signal circuit at throttle connector, Key On, Engine Off, System Mode = 'Stopped', and check if DST displays TPS2 voltage >4.0 VDC
