What This Code Means

Lean exhaust condition; Enriched fuel mixture; MIL ON; Closed Loop multiplier out of range (greater than 35%) while running on propane; False lean condition

Possible Causes

  • •Misfiring cylinder
  • •Faulty O2 sensor
  • •Large vacuum leaks
  • •Crankcase leaks
  • •Faulty EPR (Electronic Pressure Regulator)
  • •Faulty fuel mixer
  • •Low fuel pressure
  • •Improper coolant flow to LP vaporizer
  • •Exhaust leak pulling outside air past the O2 sensor
  • •Drastic variation in fuel quality
  • •Faulty grounds
  • •Oxygen sensor mispositioned and contacting the exhaust
  • •Short to ground between harness and sensor sense signal

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Ensure fuel pressure is not too low
