Unable to reach higher TPS step action value; TPS voltage is less than 2.0 volts when throttle command is 63% - 68% in DBW (Drive By Wire) test mode

Possible Causes

  • •Foreign object in throttle bore
  • •Electronic throttle connector terminals damaged, corroded, or contaminated
  • •Faulty throttle
  • •Open circuit / lack of continuity between throttle connector TPS 1 signal pin 1 and ECM TPS 1 signal pin 39
  • •Short to ground on throttle connector TPS 1 signal pin 1 circuit
  • •Intermittent problem
