What This Code Means

Loss of DTC Memory; TMAP DTC does not store and remain in memory when ignition is turned OFF; MIL circuit or the Diagnostic Test Terminal intermittently shorted to ground

Possible Causes

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Disconnect the TMAP sensor.
  2. 2Idle the engine until the MIL illuminates.
  3. 3Verify if the ECM stores a TMAP DTC which remains in the memory when the ignition is turned OFF. If the DTC does not store and remain, replace the faulty ECM.
