What This Code Means
Engine will not start; Engine will not run; MIL ON during active fault; Engine will not start or run
Possible Causes
- •Engine speed > 90 RPM with no sync for 4 revolutions during cranking
- •Crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors not securely connected to harness
- •Crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors not securely installed on the engine, or brackets are loose
- •Open circuits in crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensor circuits wiring
- •Engine speed is greater than 90 RPM and the crank and/or cam cannot synchronize within 4 cranking revs
- •Crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors are not securely connected to the harness
- •Crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensors are not securely installed on the engine, or brackets are loose
- •Open circuits in the crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensor circuits wiring
