Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ON during active fault; Engine retarding the ignition timing; Severe engine knocking; Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ON; Engine shutdown
Possible Causes

- •Elevated coolant temperature
- •Loads exceeding engine load limit

Suggested Actions
- 1See Diagnostic Information for DTC 1325
- 2If other DTCs exist, diagnose these first
- 3Refer to the engine manufacturer's service manual for additional information
- 4Take a gas analysis sample to check the makeup of the wellhead gas if running on wellhead gas
- 5Reduce the engine load when running on 'hot' gas to keep cylinder pressures down below the threshold where knock can occur
- 6Contact your OEM for more information on running an engine on wellhead gas
