Charger Missing AC displayed on the control panel; No battery voltage indicated by DMM in Steps 3-5; DMM indicated battery voltage in Steps 3-5

Possible Causes

  • •AC power is missing from the battery charger input
  • •Faulty controller
  • •Faulty wire between PZ10 Pin 2 (Wire 13), PZ10 Pin 4 (Wire 0), and respective connection points.
  • •Performing the test procedure
  • •T1 line voltage is not present at the battery charger

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Check screen for additional information
  2. 2Contact an IASD
  3. 3Contact an IASD (Independent Authorized Service Dealer)
  4. 4If the DMM indicated 120 VAC at TB2 terminal 3 (Wire T1) and TB2 terminal 4 (Wire NEU), proceed to check voltage at the J2 connector.
  5. 5If the DMM indicated less than 120 VAC or 0 VAC at TB2 terminal 3 (Wire T1) and TB2 terminal 4 (Wire NEU), refer to the flow chart (Bad).
  6. 6Ignore the alarm
  7. 7Refer to Problem 22
  8. 8Repair or replace respective wire as needed.
  9. 9Replace controller.
  10. 10Verify neutral is connected prior to performing this test.
