What This Code Means

Battery problem warning will be displayed; Charger problem warning will be displayed; Charge cycle will restart; Charge cycle is restarted; Internal charger will begin charging if needed; Charge current display will switch to display the internal charger current

Possible Causes

  • •Battery charge current at the end of the charge cycle is greater than a pre-set level
  • •Battery open-circuit voltage is less than approximately 12.5V
  • •Engine cranks during the charge cycle
  • •External charger fails

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Message will self clear if the condition is not present after the next charge cycle completion.
  2. 2Once the failure is repaired, the external charger will charge and display the current for the external charger.
