ALARM #5

UnclassifiedElectrical

What This Code Means

Error in one of the inverters; Error in the inverters due to installation or internal problem; Overvoltage at the output; System communication failed; Error LEDs are on (red); Battery error persists after restarting; Battery state of charge is low (30%, 25%, or 21%); Operating mode will shut down when battery charge reaches 20%; The equipment has shut down; One of the devices assumed the master state; Firmware incompatibility

Possible Causes

  • Broken maintenance disconnector
  • Inverter stopped working
  • Problem with the electrical installation carried out on the load
  • Problem in the Cerbo GX
  • Problem in one of the inverters
  • Defective battery
  • Deterioration of battery cells
  • Problem in communication in battery modules
  • Low battery state of charge
  • One of the phases has been disabled
  • The original master failed
  • The firmware of one of the connected devices is not up-to-date enough to work with this device

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Perform a system shutdown according to the manual (do not turn the batteries off)
  2. 2Check that the communication between the inverters is correct
  3. 3Check that the RJ45 connectors are in good condition and tight
  4. 4Check that the voltage between the DC terminals of the input of each of the inverters is correct
  5. 5Replace the maintenance disconnector
  6. 6Turn the batteries off and restart the equipment
  7. 7Disconnect the load at the power output
  8. 8Run any operating mode
  9. 9Verify by means of a voltmeter that the RMS voltage at the output is higher than adequate
  10. 10Connect the load at the output and verify if there is an overvoltage
  11. 11Check that the communication between the inverters and between the Cerbo GX and the master inverter is correct
  12. 12Check that the batteries are working properly
  13. 13Identify which battery is defective
  14. 14Charge the battery as soon as possible
