Possible Causes

• •A battery that is weak or undersized for the application may cause this fault condition.
• •Activation by customer-supplied sensing devices connected to auxiliary immediate shutdown ports (P1-17 and P1-18)
• •Activation by the low fuel pressure shutdown switch connected to the Auxiliary Immediate Shutdown port P1-17 (125RZG only).
• •Auxiliary delay shutdown fault
• •Auxiliary delay shutdown faults (P1-15) (if equipped)
• •Battery power was reconnected or was low and then was restored while the generator set master switch was in the RUN or AUTO position.
• •Engine water temperature approaches the critical range.
• •High oil temperature
• •High oil temperature (P1-13)
• •Low coolant level
• •Low coolant level (P1-10, Decision-Maker t 3+)
• •Low coolant level (P1-14, Decision-Maker t 3)
• •Optional emergency stop switch is energized either locally or from a remote location.
• •Optional emergency stop switch is reset while the generator set master switch is in the AUTO or RUN position.

Suggested Actions

1. 1Fault conditions are inhibited during the first 30 seconds after crank disconnect.
2. 2Place the generator set master switch in the OFF/RESET position to clear this fault.
3. 3Requires an optional emergency stop switch for the lamp to function.
4. 4Requires an optional pre-alarm sender kit for the lamp to function.
5. 5The local emergency stop switch is standard on Detroit Diesel-equipped 200--2000kW generatorsets.
