What This Code Means

High Exhaust Temperature indicator appears on the digital controller display; Regeneration Needed indicator appears on the digital controller display; The message 'Force Regen Err' appears on the controller display; Engine automatically shuts down after a few minutes

Possible Causes

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Allow the engine to run until the automatic regeneration process is completed (no operator action required)
  2. 2Perform forced (manual) regeneration: Ensure the Circuit Breaker OFF button LED is ON (red) and DO NOT load the generator
  3. 3Perform forced (manual) regeneration: While the engine is running, press and hold the Run button on the digital controller until 'MAN REGEN ACTIVE' and the High Exhaust Temperature indicator are displayed
  4. 4Check and repair any issues such as disconnections before restarting the engine
