Possible Causes

  • •Foreign object in throttle bore
  • •Damaged, corroded, or contaminated electronic throttle connector terminals
  • •Loss of continuity (open circuit) between throttle connector TPS 1 signal pin 1 and ECM TPS 1 signal pin 39
  • •TPS 1 signal circuit shorted to ground
  • •Faulty electronic throttle
