Possible Causes

• •Faulty ECM
• •Incorrect TMAP mechanical connection

Suggested Actions

1. 1Replace ECM
2. 2Correct TMAP mechanical connection
3. 3Remove all test equipment except the DST
4. 4Connect any disconnected components, fuses, etc.
5. 5Using the DST, clear DTC information from the ECM
6. 6Turn the ignition OFF and wait 30 seconds
7. 7Start the engine and operate the vehicle to full operating temperature
8. 8Observe the MIL
9. 9Observe engine performance and driveability
10. 10Check for stored codes after operating within test parameters of DTC-131
11. 11Go to OBD System Check if needed
