What This Code Means
Incompatible model numbers for paralleled generators; Incorrect configuration of one of the generators; Different generator types; System voltage of the two generators intended to be paralleled is not the same; Generators will not be allowed to start; Failure to Auto-Discover APM connections; APM connection auto-discovery is not complete; Generator does not know which contactor is connected to it
Possible Causes
- •Different generator types.
- •Generators not yet started in RUN with other generator in OFF
- •Generators not yet started in RUN with other generator in OFF.
- •Incorrect configuration of one of the generators.
- •Intermittent connections on RBUS network wiring.
- •One of the two generators is incorrectly configured.
- •The system voltage of the two generators intended to be paralleled is not the same.
- •Two generators intended to be paralleled have incompatible model numbers.
- •Wires 9A and 9B crossed between the generators.
- •Wires 9A or 9B not connected
Suggested Actions
- 1Check for crossed wires 9A and 9B between generators.
- 2Ensure the system voltage of both generators is the same.
- 3Ensure wires 9A or 9B are connected.
- 4Place the other generator in OFF and start this generator in RUN to perform the auto-discovery procedure
- 5Place the other generator in OFF and this generator in RUN to activate auto-discovery.
