ALARM #51
UnclassifiedCooling
What This Code Means
Excessive discharge of the battery; Error LEDs are on (red); System temperature below desired level; System stopped via emergency mushroom; The differential switch has been activated; Internal battery cells are unbalanced; Active alarm (e.g., Low charges); Emergency mushroom is pressed; Differential switch of the running EHR equipment trips; Magnetothermal output tripped; Operating mode shuts down for safety reasons; Equipment shutdown; Inverters heat up internally; Decrease in performance
Possible Causes
- •Battery is defective
- •One or more cells of the batteries are defective
- •Heaters inactive
- •The emergency mushroom has been pressed
- •Inadequate input and output wiring
- •Terminals not well threaded
- •Battery cells are out of balance
- •Pressing of the emergency mushroom (potentially due to a safety condition)
- •Current drift at the output
- •Current drift in the installation feeding the EHR
- •State of charge (SoC) of the batteries has decreased by 20% during operation
- •Primary power supply cannot be activated remotely
- •Primary power supply is supplying the installation at its maximum power, preventing battery charging
- •One of the phases has been disabled
- •Very high ambient temperature (above 30°C)
- •Very high inverter power (approaching inverter limits)
Suggested Actions
- 1Perform a system shutdown according to the manual (do not turn the batteries off)
- 2Check that the batteries are working properly
- 3Check to see if the error LEDs are on (red) and identify the defective elements
- 4Check that the communication between the BMS of the batteries and the Cerbo GX is correct
- 5Check that the RJ45 connectors connected between the battery modules are in good condition and tightly tightened
- 6Turn the batteries off and restart the equipment
- 7Charge the batteries by applying an operating mode and performing a maintenance charge
- 8Replace faulty modules if the error persists
- 9Check that the heaters are active
- 10Wait until the system temperature rises to the desired level before operating normally
- 11Turn the mushroom until it is released to restart the system
- 12Check that the EHR’s input and output wiring is adequate and that all terminals are well threaded
- 13Discharge the batteries a little until the alarm is resolved
- 14Perform a maintenance charge to balance the internal battery cells
- 15Check the condition of the machine
- 16Verify with the operator who pressed the emergency mushroom before resetting
- 17Rearm the emergency mushroom
- 18Check all wiring
- 19Check the tightening torque of the terminals
- 20Check the installation feeding the EHR
