• •Elevated engine coolant temperatures (caused by clogged radiator/CAC cores, low coolant level, or loose, slipping, or broken fan/water pump belts)
• •Excessive exhaust back pressure / obstructed exhaust piping, catalysts, or muffler
• •Loose nuts, bolts, or brackets vibrating on the engine or attached components
• •Contact of external components with the knock sensors
• •Knock sensors not properly secured or incorrectly torqued
• •Improperly performing ignition system components (spark plugs, ignition coils, or coil boots)
