005348
UnclassifiedGeneral
What This Code Means
Minimal output at the breaker; DMM indicated INFINITY or a high resistance (in Test 11 Results - Step 3); DMM indicated Infinity (in Step 3); DMM indicated Infinity or high resistance (in Step 6); DMM indicated Infinity or high resistance (in Step 7); Fault is not corrected; DMM not within +/- 10% of the correct stator value (in Step 3)
Possible Causes
- •Regulator does not receive AC sensing voltage
- •Open wire in Wire 2 or Wire 6 from the TB1 terminal block to the stator
- •Integrity of Wires 2 and 6 from the TB1 terminal block to the stator needs verification
- •Fault with Wire 2
- •Fault with Wire 6
- •Potential issue with controller and DMM readings
Suggested Actions
- 1Test AC sensing circuit
- 2If DMM indicates INFINITY between TB1 Wire SA/11/S1/S15 and AC sensing input to control board, repair or replace the wire between SA and the control board.
- 3If DMM indicates INFINITY between TB1 Wire SB/44/S3/S16 and AC sensing input to control board, repair or replace the wire between SB and the control board.
- 4Repair or replace open wire(s)
- 5Replace the stator (if no other fault is found)
- 6Verify the integrity of Wires 2 and 6 from the TB1 terminal block to the stator.
- 7If an open wire is found, repair or replace.
- 8If no other fault is found, replace the stator.
- 9Repair or replace Wire 2
- 10Repair or replace Wire 6
- 11Proceed back to the flowchart.
- 12Verify controller and DMM readings.
