Possible Causes

  • Sags or dips in the blowby hose
  • Slope of blowby hose is less than 1/2 inch per foot
  • Clogged air cleaner
  • Engine operating in very dusty or dry grass conditions
  • Cold weather combined with empty volume inside the fuel tank

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Change the air filter element
