LCD screen indicates 'Overcrank' condition; Generator continually attempts to start; Unit stops cranking after preset time limit

Possible Causes

  • •Engine management module failing to start the engine

  • •Fuel line shutoff valve is OFF
  • •Fuel line shutoff valve is not in the ON position
  • •Fuel line shutoff valve not in ON position
  • •No fuel supply

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Attempt to start the unit in MANUAL
  2. 2Check LEDs / screen for alarms
  3. 3Check LEDs/Screen for alarms
  4. 4Check engine management module configuration and functionality
  5. 5Check fuel line shutoff valve is in the ON position
  6. 6Clear alarm
  7. 7If it does not start or starts and runs rough, contact servicing dealer

  10. 10Start unit in MANUAL
  11. 11To clear an active alarm, press the OFF button, the EN TER button, and then press AUTO. If the alarm reoccurs, contact an IASD.
  12. 12Verify fuel line shutoff valve is ON
