Possible Causes

• •Slave MAP is at least 1.5 psi lower than the master MAP for 45 seconds
• •Leak in the CAC piping on the secondary side
• •Misfire condition
• •Faulty turbo not making boost
• •Partial misfire from valve lash
• •Lack of compression
• •Leak in the CAC system (boots, clamps, CAC)
• •Turbo wastegate not adjusted properly
• •Turbo wastegate sticking
• •Suspect or sticking throttle body
• •Boots and clamps coming loose due to vibration underneath the bridge over the valley of the engine

Suggested Actions

1. 1Check all hose clamps on the CAC piping to make sure they are properly clamped and tight
2. 2Ensure there are no tears in any of the silicone boots
3. 3Inspect and check the boots and clamps located underneath the bridge over the valley of the engine by the ECUs
