What This Code Means
Rough idle; Unstable idle; Engine missing; Incorrect idle; DST displays MAP greater than defined in diagnostic calibration; DST displays MAP voltage <0.100 VDC
Possible Causes
- •Engine mechanical problem
- •Faulty ECM
- •Faulty ECM connection
- •Faulty MAP sensor
- •Faulty pressure connection to intake
- •Intermittent Problem
- •MAP value is greater than 35 psi (psia) with TPS less than 10% and engine rpm greater than 1400 while the engine is running
- •Open sensor ground circuit
- •Vacuum leak

- 1Correct the engine mechanical problem or vacuum leak before continuing the diagnostic chart
- 2Disconnect MAP sensor from engine harness (Key OFF), then check if DST displays MAP voltage <0.100 VDC with Key ON, Engine OFF (System Mode = 'Stopped')
