MIL-On during active adaptive limit condition; Lean exhaust condition; Fuel system running lean; False lean exhaust reading
Possible Causes
- •Adaptive multiplier out of range (greater than 30%)
- •Heated Oxygen sensor wires mis-routed and contacting exhaust manifold
- •Large vacuum leaks and crankcase leaks
- •Injector driver or driver circuit fails open
- •Injector fails in a closed manner or is dirty
- •Low fuel pressure
- •Faulty fuel injector
- •Damaged fuel pump assembly
- •Exhaust leak pulling outside air past O2 sensor
- •Contaminated or spoiled fuel
- •Poor ECM grounds
