What This Code Means

Exhaust throttle valve may not function correctly during a SCR purge cycle

Possible Causes

  • •Vacuum pump wires are crossed (installed backwards) on the wire connector CN-L

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Locate the vacuum pump connector CN-L on the engine wiring harness and inspect the wiring
  2. 2Use a 2.5 mm small flat blade screwdriver to insert from the side and pry the white locking cap up and out of the connector
  3. 3Press the small tab away from the metal terminal inside the connector while simultaneously pulling on the wire to remove both wires
  4. 4Swap (correct) the wires inside the connector
