Generator stops; Fuel flow stops; Ignition stops; Remote fault indicator lamp illuminates

Possible Causes

  • •Engine fault (OC, OS, HWT, LOP, or LWL)
  • •Engine fault switch closes to ground for 5 seconds
  • •Fault shutdown condition (OC, OS, HWT, LOP, or LWL)
  • •HET switch closes to ground for 5 consecutive seconds
  • •LOP switch closes to ground for 5 consecutive seconds
  • •LWL switch closes to ground for 5 consecutive seconds
  • •Run latch (K5 relay) preventing remote reset

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Correct the cause of failure
  2. 2Move Start/Stop Switch to the OFF/RESET position
  3. 3Place selector switch in OFF/RESET position at the generator to reset the fault logic
  4. 4Reset at the generator controller by moving the Start / Stop switch to the OFF / RESET position
