LOW OIL PRESSURE

Possible Causes

• •Engine lubricating oil pressure falls to or below approximately 22 p.s.i. (1.6 bar)
• •Engine lubricating oil pressure falls to or below approximately 22 p.s.i. (1.6 bar) causing the oil pressure switch to close
• •Faulty oil pressure switch
• •Low oil level
• •Oil pressure did not reach the proper specified operating point by the time FPT times out
• •Oil pressure does not reach the specified operating point before the Fault Protection Timer (FPT) times out
• •Oil pressure dropped below the specified operating level while running
• •Oil pressure drops below the setting point by the time FPT times out
• •Oil pressure drops below the setting point when running
• •Oil pressure drops below the specified operating point while running

Suggested Actions

1. 1Check oil level

3. 3Clear the fault lamp by turning the Key Switch to position 'O' (Off) for the 1001 panel, turning the Control Switch to 'STOP' for the 2001 panel, or pressing the P.C.B RESET button on the 4001 and 4001E panels
4. 4Press the P.C.B RESET button (for 4001 and 4001E panels) to reset the system
5. 5Press the RESET button on the P.C.B (for 4001 and 4001E panels) to reset the fault
