What This Code Means

Automatic engine shutdown; Red Alarm lamp illuminates on the digital controller

Possible Causes

  • •Engine oil pressure falls below 8 psi (55 kPa)

Suggested Actions

  1. 1Check any DTCs that appear on the digital controller screen
  2. 2Press the OFF button on the digital controller
  3. 3Place the Control Power switch in the OFF position
  4. 4Place all circuit breakers in the OFF position
  5. 5Ensure the Control Power switch is OFF and all circuit breakers are in the OFF position when the unit is ready to restart
  6. 6Restart the generator as shown in the Generator Start-Up Procedure (Manual) section
  7. 7Make sure all fault messages have been cleared from the digital controller display
