AUXILIARY SWITCH OPEN

Possible Causes

• •All main shaft auxiliary switch inputs are open
• •Controller cannot determine the transfer switch position
• •Main shaft auxiliary switches indicate all inputs are open
• •Main shaft auxiliary switches indicate that the ATS is in neither position (all inputs open)
• •Transfer switch in intermediate position

Suggested Actions

1. 1Check the control contact operation
2. 2Check wiring and connections to position microswitches
3. 3Inspect for signs of coil damage or overheating and replace coil if necessary
4. 4Manually operate the transfer switch
5. 5Perform manual reset
6. 6Press Reset button (Service Req'd Reset) to clear fault that triggered system alert LED
7. 7Replace microswitch if necessary
8. 8Test position microswitch operation
