ALARMS TABLE PARAMETER 63
UnclassifiedElectrical
What This Code Means
Voltage values between genset phases (VG12, VG23, or VG31) are under the minimum programmed limits; Genset frequency is under the minimum programmed frequency limits; No frequency measurement signal detected on the first-phase, second-phase, or third-phase; Unexpected shutdown of the engine; Engine fails to stop (Stop failure)
Possible Causes
- •Genset phase voltage drops below the thresholds defined in Thresholds table parameter 3
- •Genset frequency values remain below the thresholds defined in Thresholds table parameter 6 during the stabilization time programmed in Alarms table parameter 65
- •The controller does not detect all engine starting conditions (regulations table parameters 19 to 22) while the engine is running
- •All engine stop conditions (regulations table parameters 19 to 22) are not detected 15 seconds after an engine stop attempt
Suggested Actions
- 1Stop engine with cooling (automatically triggered action configured by alarms table parameter 63)
- 2Stop engine with cooling (automatically triggered action configured by alarms table parameter 66)
- 3Disconnect the stop failure alarm (alarms table parameter 70) to allow the device to consider the engine stopped after waiting a maximum of 15 seconds
- 4Ensure all engine stopping conditions are detected during the programmed time (alarms table parameter 71)
